We recognize that you take sufficient care for your delicate instruments. However to maintain the quality & lasting of your instruments we recommend the following precautions. Probably the most important thing to maintain the quality is cleaning. Sterilization is not cleaning. The instruments must be cleaned properly after every use & before sterilization also.

Manual Cleaning-Mild
Soap Solution and a clean toothbrush are recommended. Serrations, locks, joints & box locks need special attention because deposits or stain find quick access to these spots. If not removed, they start corrosion and damage the instruments beyond repair.
Never use abrasive powder or metal brush Scratching or hard rubbing may damage the outer surface and may help start corrosion.

Rinse with distilled or demineralised water after cleaning. Dry them to a 'bone dry condition' with a hot air blower or fibre free cloth.

Ultrasound Cleaning-This
is the best method for thorough cleaning. Be sure to follow the instructions given with the ultrasound cleaner.

Sterilization-
instruments can be sterilized via steam autoclaving, Chemical disinfectants, ETO or Dry hot air. The most practical is autoclaving though in some cases it may be damaging to the delicate S.S. instruments.
